Columbia Manufacturing Services was created as a unique division of Columbia Machine, Inc., dedicated to offering a full range of contract manufacturing services including fabrication, machining, assembly and full equipment production to companies who could benefit from our substantial capabilities. We have committed the necessary resources to this division to make it a success and look forward to offering a “one stop solution” to a wide variety of companies.
At Columbia we have a staff of design engineers whose disciplines range from hydraulics and manufacturing to integrated circuitry, controls and robotics. Our cutting and shearing capacity is ‘state of the art’ from laser cutting to a CNC combination plasma cutting/machining center. The machine shop is truly an example of continuous improvement with proven, reliable machinery managed by very experienced and talented technicians, alongside the newest in CNC innovations. Similarly, our fabrication workstations range from simple wire-feed welders to a fully-automated robotic welding station. The control panel shop is able to meet the most demanding applications and holds both the UL and CSA certifications, and many of our own equipment carry the CE certification. We have in-house furnaces that allow us to heat-treat parts at the proper stage and just invested over $1MM in a new building and equipment that house a new steel shot blast and paint booth.
